Several months ago, I was approached to
try a new product for odor control. In a hospital setting,
odor control is a daily problem. The smell that a visitor
smells upon entering the facility often leaves a lasting
impression.
I was curious about a product that was not merely a cover
up aerosol spray, but was reusable and environmentally friendly.
With skepticism, I agreed to try the product in our soiled
utility area. This room is the holding area for linen awaiting
transport to the laundry.
Since installation, the odor associated
with soiled linen has been absorbed by this wonderful product.
The smell in this area has been eliminated. We have since
used the product with spills that occur hospital wide.
The one time fee for the purchase of this
product is money well spent. Due to the reusable feature
of Odor Stop, we will realize a cost saving in terms of
deodorant sprays that we were purchasing in the past. An
added bonus is also that sprays are sometimes a respiratory
irritant for patients and staff. This product is totally
environmentally friendly and I highly recommend it.
