Mega Freeze Testimonials

Geep Mechanical
As you know, the Food Bank of Greater Tarrant County has been a customer of ours for the past 8 years, and that we handle all their refrigeration needs.
We, Geep Mechanical Engineering & Construction, Inc. installed the Mega Freeze® filters in the -10° Freezer. After one year of testing this product, we found that there was no visible ice increase on evaporators, ceilings or walls. In the past, this walk-in freezer has always required a complete defrosting, sometimes twice a year. The defrosting process is very expensive because the Food Bank brings in refrigeration trucks to keep the frozen food in while we defrost the large freezer. The process is very labor intensive and an inconvenience for Food Bank employees.

We are extremely happy with the results of reducing the humidity in the area and thereby, the ice accumulation.

The bottom line results:

  • No Defrosting of Walk-In Freezer
  • No Renting Refrigeration Trucks
  • No Extra Labor for Defrosting
  • Less Maintenance
  • Less Liquid Refrigerant Slugging
  • Less Damage to the Compressors
  • Less Power Consumption for Refrigeration

We have a very satisfied customer.

Bailey Refrigeration
Bailey Refrigeration was having problems with the new refrigerant R134-A. It's more difficult to drop temperatures to the desired level. Even after replacing components within our system, we are unable to get the results we wanted.
A solution was offered by a dehumidification filter called Mega Freeze®. It comes in two different sizes and the correct number to install depends on the total cubic footage of the freezer. They can also be custom made.

The Mega Freeze® filters were installed with no difficulty. Seven days after the installation, the freezer temperature dropped from -4 degrees to -14 degrees and has maintained the desired range of temperature even in the tropical waters off Cancun and Jamaica.

We, at Bailey Refrigeration, are pleased to recommend Mega Freeze® filters to the refrigeration industry as a solution to an ongoing problem with R134-A refrigerant.

Walgreens
I'm writing this to let you know the Mega Freeze® filters you installed in my store's walk in freezer do indeed work.
It's nice to walk into my freezer and not find ice on the ceiling, floors and on the stored products as was there before the two filters were installed.

What's more, there's no longer any "fuzzy ice" on the products displayed in the freezer. And there is no frost or condensation on the inside of the glass freezer doors.

Best of all, I'm no longer worried about ice falling on or hitting one of my associates or me when one of us is in the freezer.

I'm well pleased with the Mega Freeze® product and wanted to let you know that I am.
